What do you do with Rage?

Have you ever been applauded for your calmness as a leader?

What if all this calmness has seeded an entire mountain of unexplored rage?

Sarita Vasa’s session “What Do You Do with Rage?” explores how leaders can transform suppressed emotions like anger into constructive sources of insight and power. Rather than viewing calmness as the only marker of leadership strength, Sarita invites participants to recognize, understand, and channel intense emotions productively.

Session Overview

In this cohort, participants learn to:

Session 1: Identify triggers that provoke rage and understand their origins.

Session 2: Express emotions safely and constructively, modeling emotional intelligence for your teams.

Session 3: Avoid judgment traps that typically accompany anger, creating a more open and trusting team environment.

Session 4: Leverage emotion as a leadership tool, turning frustration into creative energy and authentic problem-solving.

The goal is to build greater psychological safety and honesty within teams—conditions essential for innovation, inclusion, and engagement.

Sarita’s framework helps leaders “get curious, not furious”—translating emotional intensity into clearer feedback, stronger relationships, and higher team resilience.

For a people manager, this work builds the foundation for psychological safety, a hallmark of high-performing teams and a measurable driver of retention and innovation.
