This work is deeply personal. My commitment to helping others grow has been shaped by my own journey in self-development. I didn’t always strive for my highest potential—in fact, much of my life has been a tug-of-war between comfort and possibility. And yes, comfort often won.

But I kept showing up. Whether pushing my physical limits at the gym (I was born with a physical disability), navigating complex relationships, launching a social enterprise, or simply trying something new—I’ve learned to embrace the work, especially when it’s hard. And somewhere along the way, I started to love what felt both difficult and deeply worthwhile.

That mindset seems to resonate with the people I work with.

In 2018, a client affectionately called me The Velvet Hammer—a nod to my unique blend of warmth and courageous truth-telling. It was one of those rare moments of feeling truly seen. I carry that name with pride. And every time I help someone stand at their own edge—between comfort and possibility—I feel that “hammer” at work: gentle, but unyielding.
